SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA COMMUTERS NOT DEPENDING ON PUBLIC TRANSIT

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) findings are showing less commuters are depending on transit buses and San Francisco muni system to travel within bay area locations. Although, MTC reports showing increase ridership in BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and Caltrain for the past few years, it also shows commuters not depending on riding muni and other transit buses - a mixed message. One local consulting agent said, perhaps it's "the frequency of connecting buses is important and a generational shift." Considering the growth in California population and many are moving into suburban areas, maybe it's why people are using personal cars, ridesharing, telecommuting and not depending on local public transportation. One commuting passenger said, "BART and local police agencies need to enforce smoking and health issues, because many people are smoking at transportation stations including some bus transit operators."

"We have to look at factors involved in one to five years from now, and maybe ridership is down because of services cuts," said John Goodwin, MTC Administrator. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
