SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA CITY TRAFFIC SAFETY FUNDING

The City of Redwood City Police Department successfully received developing funding for DUI checkpoints to assist in ways and means of decreasing drunk drivers on the road. The grant funding of $107,400 was provided to ensure safety enforcement elements are in place accordingly protecting people from drunk drivers and other unlawful behaviors on the road. The allocated funding will assist with motorcycle enforcement including traffic stop light and speeding drivers enforcement to prevent distracted and unlawful drivers on the road.
