SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - CALTRANS HONORING WORKERS

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area and statewide is honoring their workers with heroism awards. The Caltrans state agency honored and awarded three extraordinary employees for their heroism acts of public service, and risking their personal lives to provide life-saving with safety protection for their communities. The Caltrans recognized Steve Quinliven of District 1, Tobin Hook of District 5, and Anthony Coscia of District 5 with thereby State Employees Medal of Valor honorary awards. The Caltrans state agency provides therein recognition awards annually to honor thereby employees going beyond their call of duty to save their communities. These honorary awards have been given to 800 state employees including 133 Caltrans extraordinary employees for their courage with heroism acts of protection - visit www.dot.ca.gov for more information and/or updates.
