The state legislators in California will possibly approve a legislative bill regulating responsible bicyclist adults to wear helmets while riding a bicycle. The bicycle helmet legislation is presently in effect only for under 18 years of age people, and this legislation will make it to include adults over 18 years of age for their safety. The legislative bill is introduced by Senator Carol Liu, D-La Canada Flintridge as a form of preventing head injuries for bicyclists riding to work and/or pleasure on a daily basis. One bicyclist riding his bike to work during his commute on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) said, "I always wear a helmet for my safety reasoning and protecting myself from critical head injuries."
