The transit agency free rides for students and youth 18 years of age and under will take effect on Sunday, June 12, 2022 until Sunday, August 14, 2022. The Marin Transit free rides offering will only apply to Marin County local transit service schedules, and not Golden Gate Transit service schedules in North Bay. The Marin Transit services and Golden Gate Transit services are operated by two different agencies. The transit agency drivers may ask students and/or youth passengers for proof of their age. The paratransit services and Muir Woods Shuttle will not become part of therein promotional fees for students and youth.
