A lawsuit is filed against the federal ruling by the Federal Surface Transportation Board regarding the high-speed railway pertaining environmental impacts in the railway development. The lawsuit has been filed in U.S. Ninth Circuit Appellate Courts in San Francisco, and hopefully overturning the federal board ruling and not disrupting the high-speed railway developmental process. Kings and Kern County attorneys including San Francisco Bay Area county agencies are participating in the petition filing process within the court of laws. The inclination by opponent members indicate such an intervention approach by the federal board is wrong, and to delay a project in California is not suitable for the state.
