HIGHWAY 237 EXPRESS LANES CONSTRUCTION IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The express lanes for Highway 237 (SR/State Route 237) is happening along First Street and Mathilda Avenue in San Francisco Bay Area aligned with state legislation. This extension improvement project in South Bay will hopefully open for drivers during Summer 2019 with new operating rules for drivers. The express lanes operating hours will possibly consistent with other regional operating hours from 5 AM to 8 PM and pending state approval. The operating rules will be aligned with local and state regulations to help CHP (California Highway Patrol) for enforcement. Including surveillance videos to capture driving violators and consistent with other operating rules throughout the Bay Area.
