The County Connection transit services in East Bay is offering free rides for youth 18 years of age and under until Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Bay Area. The County Connection transit agency operates under The Central Contra Costa Transit Authority, and by therein JPA (Joint Powers Authority) governance infrastructure standards. The transit agency new Youth Ride Free pilot program is to address youth ridership behaviors, and for youth riders to become familiar with public transit services in centralized communities countywide.
