CENTRAL SUBWAY STATUS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) Central Subway railway tracking steel is reportedly the wrong type. The SFMTA officials requested the subway contractor to replace therein tracking steel with the correct type of high strength steel. The SFMTA project officials are sharing information with the subway contractor to decide if changing the tracking steel is necessary. Because both Central Subway responsible agencies are starting to point fingers and blaming the other agency. The reports identify SFMTA was aware of the type of tracking steel for the subway railway at all times. The latest financial claims by the subway contractor equates to $29.8 million and replacing tracking steel may push the opening back. The Central Subway in San Francisco was intended to open during December 2018 and delayed to open during December 2019.

"There was no contract modification for changing that requirement, and higher grade steel was always specified within the contract," said Paul Rose, SFMTA Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
