The new Caltrain cars purchased from MetroLink in Southern California will be in operation during next week for passengers because of increasing ridership. The 16 train cars were delivered recently to Caltrain station for repairs and refurbishing to ensure they are suitable for passengers. The demand for new train cars at Caltrain is essentially important for people to have enough seating capacity and storage for bicycles. Starting this coming Monday a newly refurbished train car will added to Caltrain within the Peninsula area of San Francisco Bay Area. Other purchased train cars will be under repairs to have enough capacity space for bicycles and disability individuals as necessary.
