OAKLAND FIGHTING TRANSPORTING COAL LAWSUIT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The City of Oakland is banning transporting coal at the Port of Oakland in 2016 because of local health and environmental concerns. The lawsuit was filed by a local developer regarding a proposed new $250 million shipping terminal project in Oakland for coal transporting activities.
