The SamTrans transit agency serving San Mateo County is purchasing 10 new electric buses along with 25 hybrid buses to reduce fleet emissions. The SamTrans Board of Directors awarded $9.2 million contract to Proterra Inc. in Burlingame, California for therein transit project.
