The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency unveils the newly designed fares gate for passengers riding trains in San Francisco Bay Area. The BART new gates for commuting passengers will cost approximately $90 million with 40% savings from the initial estimating cost.

SFMTA MAY NOT RAISE FARES WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) muni transit may not raise bus fares for passengers for next two fiscal years. Because of an agreement with San Francisco Board of Supervisors regardless of SFMTA Board of Director's approval of raising muni passengers fees.
