BART NEW RAILWAY CARS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area receives more new railway cars with updated elements to become reliable. The BART agency received 308 new train cars from the manufacturer on 2/16/2022 with 219 railway cars are in service. The transit agency stopped getting more new train cars effective January 8, 2021 to allow more time for therein manufacturer for train cars improvement requirements. The BART trains are operating using new schedules to improve transporting services for commuting passengers, and increasing transit services for weekend routing services. The transit agency new fleet cars are more improved with high performance and becoming more reliable for commuting passengers in the Bay Area.
