VTA BETTER BUS STOPS PROGRAM IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency is progressively securing input from South Bay communities regarding the Better Bus Stops Program. The VTA personnel have been gathering feedback surveys from people to find out how bus stops can be improved in South Bay. The VTA Better Bus Stops Program was initiated during the beginning of January 2020 and moving forward accordingly. The VTA improvement project will be generated based on systematic data with local community feedback. The VTA project will cost $6.7 million with funding allocation from MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) and local Measure B funding. The VTA project engineers will start designing constructive elements to be in place and constructions can begin in January 2021 - visit www.vta.org for more information with updates and feedback survey.
