SMART TRAIN SERVICES ADJUSTMENT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) District implements more reduction services in North Bay effective today on Monday, April 6, 2020 because of low ridership. The SMART agency is adjusting therein weekday train services because of ridership is at 90% drop and will continue to monitor. The transit trains weekday schedules will be modified with new arrival and/or departure times in North Bay. The SMART agency modified schedules for daily train services will operate sixteen trips everyday at all stations until further notice. The transit agency has reduced weekday train services by 50% during this COVID-19 health crisis and weekend services will remain suspended. The SMART agency is advising passengers to check for updates because it's possible for more changes.
