SHARE RIDING PROGRAM IN MARIN COUNTY SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

Many transportation variables in San Francisco Bay Area can become challenging, and Marin County is looking at experimenting a car share program for Canal neighborhood residents. MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) is offering financial support for this program for a year and depending on the need for services. The services need is greater based on the report and a project plan can be underway sometimes in 2017, and part of the plan is considering to use environmental vehicles to reduce greenhouse gases. Some impacts of the project is uncertain at this time and Canal neighborhood residents are sharing an interest with the project, especially some people using transit services and other transportation means of support.

"People in the neighborhood have a desire for a car sometimes and asked MTC about doing a project there because of the need of services," said Dianne Steinhauser, Executive Director, Marin County Transportation Authority. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
