SFMTA BIKING IMPROVEMENT WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) data shows 14% improvement for passengers in West Bay riding their bicycles within The City. The SFMTA data was comparative to last year's bicycle riding information at 37 locations during morning and evening traffic commuting hours. The transit agency is prioritizing technical ways to improve therein data system and improving the bicycle infrastructure management. The SFMTA administration is working closely with local bicycle coalitions to ensure bicyclists are safe riding their bikes in The City - aligned with Vision Zero SF. Including an increase with bicyclists on Market Street since the implementation of Better Market Street local initiative by prohibiting cars driving down Market Street.
