SFMTA ADJUSTING MUNI SERVICES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) muni services are changing their schedules aligned with therein Shelter In Place order. The SFMTA muni bus services will be adjusted based on ridership levels and railway services schedule will remain normal in West Bay. The coronavirus (COVID-19) has negatively impacted transit ridership levels in the Bay Area. Including the COVID-19 impact with transit revenues aligned with reduced ridership, and transit agencies have to make necessary changes. The SFMTA administration is cutting muni services and cancelled some local services.
