SAN FRANCISCO MTA APPROVES MUNI OPERATORS CONTRACT

After disrupted public muni transportation and delayed negotiations, San Francisco MTA finally approved the contract for muni operators union in a quickly approach. Muni operators union members also approved the tentative negotiated contract as part of the procedural process, with new wage and pension increases for the next three years, and will be retroactively in place effective July 1, 2014. "It was a hard agreement to reach and people started to understand it especially muni senior operators," said Ed Reiskin, SFMTA Director.
