SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA TRAFFIC CONGESTION IS GETTING WORSE

The latest report by MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) shows traffic congestion is getting worse in San Francisco Bay Area. The report identifies vital traffic signs on freeway congestion along with new data showing congestion related delays during weekday commuting hours. It elevated 9% to an average record of 3.5 minutes per commuter in 2016 differs from 3.2 minutes a year earlier. It marks the fourth consistent yearly record of ongoing traffic congestion increase in the Bay Area. The top congested freeway two years in a row is Highway 101 and Highway 80 from Highway 280 interchange in San Francisco.
