The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the best eyeviewing scenes during night time, and local BART Transportation has been talking and planning how to accommodate people during late night to early morning hours. A group of Task Force members have been assembled for planning discussions, and they have been meeting since June and will provide a report with recommendations. Part of the planning process is to launch a one-year testing transbay bus services for East Bay commuters across the bay during December, and this will expand regional transbay services from San Francisco for late night into early morning hours. Hopefully, this will lead into short and long-term solutions to fill the need of extending transbay services for working class commuters.
