QUESTIONABLE BRIDGE DEVELOPMENT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Richmond-San Rafael Bridge development for bicycle lanes on the westbound bridge direction is questionable for it's usage and feasibility. Some MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) officials are sharing concerns about therein additional lane can be used for vehicular traffic relief. Part of therein bridge development discussion is having a 10 foot wide north side lane of the upper bridge deck for vehicular traffic. The bicyclists and pedestrians can use therein space with a movable median barrier to separate vehicular traffic during that time of usage. The Marin County Supervisor Damon Connolly said, "It's clear the vehicular congestion through the bridge corridor has grown during the past five years, and we need to serve drivers who are on the bridge now." The MTC staffing will look at what could work for the bridge development project and options to serve vehicle drivers and bicyclists.

"The good news is having a movable barrier system as part of the project design, to have some flexibility with the project capacity of having it available for cars and bikes, said Steve Heminger, MTC Executive Director. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
