Discussions and planning developments are in place to increase the Golden Gate Bridge toll based on the recommendation from department administration. If everything goes well as planned, the proposal increase of $1 may go into effect this April 2014, and raising to $8 in July 2018 to help with bridge improvement budget - it appears that comments from the public was well received with support for the toll increase.
