PORT OF SAN FRANCISCO PARTNERSHIP PROPOSALS WITHIN THE BAY AREA

The Port of San Francisco administration is opening for partnership proposals regarding Pier-70 historical shipyard. The legendary Pier-70 shipyard is known for assembling steel ships during World War II as well as the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) underwater transbay tunnel. The Port of San Francisco is circulating the RFP (Request For Proposals) process for a potential partnership agency to lease the historical repair shipyard. The Pier-70 shipyard needs drydock and other debris cleaning with repairing dredging areas, and Port of San Francisco will pay for some shipyard repairs. The drydock repairs and shipyard improvement projects including a $5 million upgrade will hopefully attract a new operating agency contractor. The Port of San Francisco is hopefully having a contracting agency in there by October this year to operate and run the shipyard.

"The new contractor will pay for dredging elements below the docks and we are moving quickly to have a contractor," said Peter Dailey, Deputy Director, Port Maritime Operations. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
