MTC FUNDING DISTRIBUTION WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) approved and allocated COVID-19 federal stimulus funding for San Francisco Bay Area transit agencies. The MTC stimulus funding allocation is more than $780 million from CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security) Act of federal funds for transit agencies. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) are the top two agencies receiving more stimulus funding. The first round of MTC stimulus funding distribution was based on each transit agencies operating budgets in the Bay Area. Including revenue losses during the COVID-19 health emergency crisis and types of impact for each transit agency - visit www.mtc.ca.gov for more information with funding distribution amounts.

"The first round formula was based on immediate financial needs with lack of adequate data, and the second round of funds should be disbursed equitably," said Jeff Tumlin, SFMTA Director of Transportation. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
