GOOGLE'S WAYMO IS SUING UBER IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The high technological self-driving companies in San Francisco Bay Area is having a legal battle because of technology allegations. The Waymo legal associates filed a lawsuit yesterday in San Francisco federal courts against Uber ride-sharing company. The allegation is because a former top manager working for Google in the past, Anthony Levandowski, left and found a startup called Otto. The Otto company is building self-driving big rig trucks and Uber bought Otto for $680 million last year. Anthony Levandowski is the person overseeing the Otto self-driving development project and dispatching self-driving autonomous cars. The Waymo company alleges other former Google employees may have stolen trade secrets to enhance the Otto self-driving project.
