GOOGLE SHUTTLES IN SAN FRANCISCO UPDATE

The Google Shuttle buses transporting workers in San Francisco is becoming a permanent project as determined by city officials. San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) initiated the project as a pilot until further determination and pending the impact on local communities. Local city advocates opposing the project filed a lawsuit against the city and SFMTA for not complying with CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act). SFMTA reports the shuttle buses run 118 traveling routes with 205 shuttles operating in San Francisco, and regains $3.55 per shuttle stop costing for the pilot project. Local city opponents share the shuttle program will accelerate displacement of community residents, and not compliance with state environmental policies within San Francisco.

"We have not cut any corners, and have to take necessary steps ensuring no gaps are within shuttle services, should this project becomes permanent," said Paul Rose, SFMTA Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
