EAST BAY BART SERVICE DELAYS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) maintenance working crews will repair transit tracks over this coming weekend - delaying regular services in East Bay. The repairing crews will begin working on single tracks starting Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10 PM going through Sunday, November 24, 2019 until the end of services. It requires BART to hold some transit trains to get the repair work done appropriately and causing regular service delays. Including switching train tracks as necessary for resurfacing and safety reasoning for crew members. The project in southern Hayward should provide smooth rides for commuting passengers thereafter completion. The BART administration posted delay awareness information for commuters over the weekend. The BART trains should be open with full services on Monday without any problems - visit www.bart.gov for more information.
