CITY MARKET STREET CAR-FREE WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is launching the car-free project on Market Street starting Wednesday, January 29, 2020. The car-free project will prohibit personal cars driving eastbound on Market Street between 10th and Main streets. Including personal cars driving westbound between Steuart Street and Van Ness Avenue, and cars can still cross Market Street. The working crews are preparing to install all appropriate street signs in place by therein date for awareness. The SFMTA repair crews are restructuring loading/unloading zones including extension for muni bus lanes.
