BART USING CLIPPER CARDS ONLY IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency announced effective Monday, June 8, 2020, other stations will use Clipper cards only to get on trains within San Francisco Bay Area. The BART agency is expanding their advocacy for passengers to use Clipper cards only to pay without paper tickets. Because it prevents the spread of therein COVID-19 virus transmission and protecting BART commuting passengers. It will also avoid passengers direct contact with entrance gates equipment and without touching it when boarding BART trains. Including the BART App accessibility to pay for parking fees at all stations and making it easier for passengers. The approach to use Clipper cards only for payment is aligned with BART agency's 15 Step Plan to welcome commuting passengers back in the process - visit www.bart.gov for more information and updates.

"The people that are not paying BART for train rides can become an ongoing problem because it costs more for accountable passengers," said Ken Westerville, local commuter in Contra Costa County. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
