BART SEXUAL PROTECTION PARTNERSHIP WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is partnering with AFG (Alliance For Girls) for protection from sexual harassment and/or abuse in the Bay Area. The BART and AFG partnership provides a safety network to protect girls from sexual predators harassment and/or abuse. The BART Board of Directors approved a resolution to uphold therein partnership safety network approach. It can also aligned with compliance and consistency with California state legislation AB2034 (Assembly Bill 2034), requiring transit agencies to become aware of human trafficking techniques and training.
