BART CRIME IS INCREASING IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system in San Francisco Bay Area is showing crime rates are increasing among local transit stations. The BART administration shares information regarding crime rates are rising in trains, and shortage of police officers on the roster for coverage. The BART officials and police officers are trying to use various tools with new initiatives to stop violent crimes at transit locations and on its trains. The BART Police Chief and administrators are looking at robbery issues along with other criminal activities for resolution. Including identification of hot spots within local trouble areas and BART stations for close watch using technology tools.
