AC TRANSIT SERVICES STATUS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay is postponing thereby transit networking system changes. The AC Transit Board of Directors approved to postpone therein transit service changes, and the public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2024 is being delayed as well. Including thereby postponing the implementation process for therein Draft Final Service Plan Proposal aligned with Realign The Bus Network project. The transit agency board also approved two of therein Realign The Bus Network planning scenarios, and moving forward with therein project design and planning. It appears thereby implementation for therein Realign The Bus Network project will happen sometime in the year 2025 because of identified procedural delays.
