The latest Bay Area Council 2014 Polling survey indicates 71% of residents in San Francisco Bay Area feels transportation and traffic crisis is at high level and needs attention. The other survey indicates traffic congestion in San Francisco is number two and Los Angeles traffic congestion is number 1 statewide, also including metropolitan regional areas within major cities.

The San Francisco waterfront areas with gracious natural sight seeing views are wonderful and relaxing, and San Francisco residents, tourists, working-class people, etc. wants to preserve including bike lanes. A person jumped to death in a suicide attempt to end his life this past Wednesday, and creating public conversations about suicidal prevention at the new bay bridge in San Francisco bay. "The man jumped as soon as he looked at the CHP officer who tried to help him," said Mike Ferguson, CHP spokesperson. Planning for Golden Gate Bridge to have a suicidal prevention net has been approved including $76 million funding to make it happen, and implementation plan for the prevention net is taking place for initial stages.

The new San Francisco 49ers Levi's Stadium is planning to open next month in August with a ribbon cutting officiating the stadium opening, and traffic impact to and from the stadium after stadium games and other events have been an issue of concern. This traffic concern has been for people living in the neighborhood stadium areas, including some business traffic during working hours, relating to working-clsss people commuting to and from work during stadium games.

The liberal city of San Francisco has ways to get things done, even calling on former mayor Willie Brown for assistance, of bringing people together in a "trustful approach" between Muni Operators Union and SFMTA administration. Of course, former mayor Willie Brown gets the credit and politically he has connections of knowing how to get things done, with the knowledge of who and what is involved in negotiations, especially union membership contracts with governmental agencies.

San Francisco is a liberalism city with their own way of making things happen for people, including local governmental liberal ways of operation, and that's partly why MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) is in the process of generating city parking meters to become more convenient for commuting motorists. San Francisco MTA department personnel is upgrading parking meters to become "smart meters" where parking meter payments are convenient and accessible for people, and the department have already made changes to some local district parking meters.
