The Caltrain system going through Palo Alto may have to go through an underground railway system, and city residents are talking about how this project would impact traffic. Some city advocates are asking for a clear EIR (Environmental Impact Report) assessment during initial discussions on the project, because traffic impact should be part of the report before it begins for knowledgeable discussions. Other city council members appear to be supportive of the project and hopefully relieving current traffic congestion within the community.

The Embarcadero BART station in San Francisco was closed temporarily today due to a medical situation, and BART police and safety officials have to shut down the station for emergency. Apparently a person fell onto the BART train railway tracks and was helped back on the safety platform for passengers, and a witness mentioned the person who fell was recovering from non-serious injuries.

The Palo Alto Tesla cars are moving forward with electrical cars on roadways and freeways, and keeping our environmental air clean and healthy for people. It may not have showrooms in the State of Michigan because of state laws regarding franchise car dealership, and state Governor Rick Snyder indicated this issue is a matter of state law requirements. The Michigan state law prohibits car dealers to sell directly to drivers, and limiting opportunities for Tesla cars to have a car showroom in the state.

The traffic congestion in San Francisco Bay Area freeways and roadways can become really stressful, and painful for drivers and commuters especially working people. Some driving commuters "jump" the roadway traffic by cutting through a short distance, by taking off on an off-ramp and get back on the roadway by "cheating or jumping" the freeway. Caltrans have been trying to moderate traffic in San Francisco Bay Area freeways and roadways, to make it better and ease traffic congestion including assessment for "freeway jumping" in Marin County.

Traffic on the bay bridge over the weekend was slow and very bad last Friday going into San Francisco, due to steel plates on the roadway for the bridge expansion joints connection development. The state Caltrans removed steel plates on Sunday trying to resolve traffic problems, and will have meetings today for optional ways to resolve the bridge expansion joints project without traffic problems for drivers.

The Caltrain transportation services serving peninsula communities is planning a five-year developmental process, and needs input from residents during the planning process. Approved Measure A funds by voters will become part of the implementation for Caltrain improvement project process, and that's why San Mateo County Transportation Authority staff wants to hear from residents.

The first nurse infected by Ebola is Nina Pham, and apparently a second infected nurse who is a colleague of Nina Pham, flew back to Texas from Cleveland on Frontier Airlines flight 1143. The flight had 132 passengers on-board and health officials are trying to reach all passengers to monitor their health conditions for Ebola prevention. According to national CDC (Center for Disease Control) this effort would help and preventing any possible Ebola diagnostic virus symptoms.

The transportation scenarios in San Francisco is about health and safety well-being of local residents and visitors, especially working class people within the bay area and other people touring city-by-the-bay. San Francisco Police Department is working closely with all people to ensure that happens within San Francisco, and a local resident bicyclist filed a lawsuit against the police department. Because of being arrested by police officers of riding a bike with his son strapped to his chest in a child carrier without a helmet, and his son was taken to CPS (Child Protective Services).
