MARIN TRANSIT UPDATES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Marin Transit services agency in North Bay is planning to renovate therein Rush Landing Office Building and having new transit buses. The Marin Transit renovation plan and upgraded transit coach buses is aligned with $5.64 million from FTA (Federal Transit Administration) funding support. The federal funding will help Marin Transit modernize their identified local office building, and upgrade their transit coach buses with no and/or low emissions. Including ways and means of upgrading their operational network infrastructure to improve transit services countywide. The Marin Transit operational services personnel worked closely with PG&E Electric Fleet Program to upgrade, and electrify their local EV (Electric Vehicles) fleet service location to charge electric power fleet buses.
