The CTC (California Transportation Commission) ratified $4.9 billion for local transportation projects within the San Francisco Bay Area and statewide. Including safety and mobility improvement projects at local streets and statewide highways, as well as zero-emission transportation projects at local neighboring communities. The CTC and Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) state agencies will work closely with local municipalities aligned with local transportation projects. The identified funding allocation will provide regional transportation agencies supportive funds for local transit projects, and funding for local street repairs and upgrading transportation operational systems. The allocated funding will also provide Bay Area counties with supportive transportation, and critical street repairs damaged during thereby 2025 wintertime rains at local statewide communities - visit www.dot.ca.gov for more information and/or projects updates.
