California Public Utilities Commission has allowed private ferry companies PROP SF and Tideline Marine Group to run public transportation soon across the routes of San Francisco Bay.

PROP SF is looking forward to launch its commuter services in the early 2017 which will connect San Francisco’s Berkeley and Emeryville in the East Bay with Redwood City and Pier 15. On the other hand, Tideline is on the way to provide its fast services within next 30 days but with a single route that will connect Berkeley and Pier 1 ½.
