The San Francisco iconic Golden Gate Bridge is planning to close temporarily on January 10 for safety repairs, and funding was awarded to pursue with this structural repair to ensure the safety of people traveling on the bridge. The bridge structural planning process for safety upgrade was approved in 1998 and administrators finally received funding to move forward with the scheduling plan. The bridge closure for safety repairs and improvement is historical because it's the first time this iconic bridge is closed for safety construction upgrades.

San Francisco Bay Area residents are looking at congestion as part of the life style based on new survey assessment with housing and transportation, and other essential elements for basic living in the bay area including economics and development. The transportation system in general is becoming to be a high crisis situation on congested roadways, and it's turning into more safety issues for people to safely drive on the freeways with their families and children.

Highway I-280 was temporarily closed over the Memorial Holiday weekend for necessary repair due to an inspection evaluation providing people with safe transporting highways, and repairs were successfully completed and highway I-280 is reopened with great safety services. The favorite zig-zag road in San Francisco on Lombard Street may not be open for tourism drivers during this summer, if SFMTA approves temporary closure for safety measures for improvement. The proposed temporary closure is due to tourism accidents and injuries in past years, and hoping proposal closure will provide safety improvements and providing tourists more safety ways and means of support while visiting San Francisco. The residents can still drive and use the street during temporary closure, and SFMTA will consider this proposal during their business meeting tomorrow.
