San Francisco Transportation Board Permitted Demand-Based Pricing on Parking Meters

The SFMTA board launched a new program that would use demand-based pricing at city parking meters. The program was approved by a unanimous vote which can increase pricing at some parking meters to up to $8 an hour. The program is created to ease the parking crunch of the city.
