TSA OPENS PRESCREENING AT SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Traveling through San Francisco International Airport requires enough time to ensure people don't miss their departing flights, especially going through TSA checkpoints for travelers before boarding the airplane. These checkpoints at the airport creates long standing passenger lines for the flight process, and some people standing longer hours can become unhealthy and stressful while waiting for departing flights. Some people arrive to the airport ahead of time and take a nap before standing in longer lines for boarding departing flights, and leading TSA to provide an alternative way to expedite departing flight passengers. TSA opens a new "prechecking center" at San Francisco International Airport for travelers with an option to register at TSA prechecking center, to expedite departing flights for passengers at checkpoints.

About 400,000 travelers have registered with prechecking centers across the nation to expedite airport departures nationwide, and passengers have to appear in person at the prechecking center to verify citizenship and/or immigration status.
