VTA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT GROUNDBREAKING IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) held a groundbreaking event for Mathilda Avenue Improvements Project transformation on Highway 101. The South Bay improvement project will cost $42 million with collaborative partnership funds from local and state funding allocation. The VTA transit agency is working closely with local municipal partnership agencies and Caltrans to move therein project forward. The improvement project will widen Mathilda Avenue going both directions with three lanes each way to make it easier for drivers.
