STOPPING E-CIGARETTE ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA BART

Healthy issues in San Francisco Bay Area for families and children is gaining support from American Lung Association, and BART board is stopping e-cigarette smoking at local stations and onboard trains. The BART board tentatively approved banning e-cigarette smoking and will officially approve it on Thursday, February 12, 2015. State legislatures are introducing provisional policies to treat and ban e-cigarettes the same way as regular cigarettes, making it healthy for our families and children throughout the golden state. Other public transportation services including Caltrain, VTA, Samtrans, San Francisco Muni Transportation have banned smoking including e-cigarettes.
