SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA CITY CONFLICTING CALTRANS ROADWAY EXPANSION

The state highways and roadways run through local cities in San Francisco Bay Area, and City of Burlingame council members are sharing their concerns with local roadway redesign project for El Camino Real regarding trees removal. The State Transportation Caltrans having a project to redesign and widen El Camino Real intersecting with Floribunda Avenue to avoid traffic congestion and accidents. The City of Burlingame Mayor, Michael Brownrigg, sent a letter to Caltrans addressing their concerns and requesting alternative plans to save trees within the project.
