PROGRESSIVE RICHMOND FERRY PLANS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The ferry transporting services in Richmond has been approved by CCTA (Contra Costa Transportation Authority) board and awaiting approval by WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) board for a joint agreement for ferry services implementation. The project will approximately cost $40 million to $45 million for ferry vessels and ferry terminal building, and passengers can start ferry services sometimes in 2018 with progressive services. An effort to help with ongoing traffic congestion on roadways and highways in San Francisco Bay Area especially for working people as well as families and children.
