BART WEEKEND CLOSURES FOR REPAIRS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) transportation system is going through many changes and repairs for service improvement ensuring passengers are safe. BART will start closing the transit system starting tomorrow between Glen Park, Balboa Park, and Daly City stations to begin critical repairs. The train tracking closures for repairs will be over 7 weekends and improvement repairs will begin this weekend. Improvement repairs will include installation of sound dampening equipment for passengers to have smooth rides while on BART trains. SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) will provide free shuttles for passengers during repairs. Closure scheduling times are July 30-31, August 13-14, August 20-21, September 3-5, September 17-18, October 1-2, and October 15-16 and visit www.bart.gov for more information.
