APPROVAL BRIDGE DESIGN FOR A CITY IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The bridge design over Highway 101 for pedestrians and bicyclists in Palo Alto have been approved by a team of architectural experts. This project will cost $10 million connecting Southern Palo Alto, East Bayshore Business Park, Bay Trail, and Palo Alto Baylands. The proposed bridge design was through a contest and approved design is somewhat similar to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge rusty color with overarching loops. It will also have space for pedestrians and bicyclists to fix their bikes if necessary, and initial construction will begin sometime during 2017. Approval design will go through the Planning and Transportation Commission for review, including other infrastructure departments and final approval will be the City Council.

"We now have a design of what we want with art and beauty, and recognizing how to integrate with our Baylands," said Nancy Shepherd, Mayor, City of Palo Alto. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
