ANTIOCH IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA PROMOTING BICYCLE RIDING

The Antioch High School is promoting more bicycle riders through a Bay Area Mobile Cycling Festival today, and assistance from Assemblyman Jim Frazier's (D-Oakley) office staff. The high school Bike Club students are fixing bicycles at the festival for free, giving away meaningful prizes, and BMX team bicycle stunt showcase. Some students at the festival are saying, bicycle riding and outdoor activities are more influential for some people, because we want to keep our environment clean and healthy for our future. The Bay Area Bike Mobile program is implemented by Local Motion and providing assistance for the process. "Our goal is getting people riding again and feeling confident of making a difference," said Tommy Bensko, Local Motion.
